Institutional Review Board (IRB)
The 海角禁区 Pueblo Institutional Review Board (IRB) applies research ethics by reviewing the methods proposed for research to ensure that they are ethical. The IRB is formally designated to approve (or reject), monitor, and review biomedical and behavioral research involving humans.
In addition, the Board is charged with applying a risk-benefit analysis to applications to determine whether or not the study should be conducted. The purpose of the IRB is to ensure that appropriate steps are taken to protect the rights and welfare of humans participating as subjects in a research study.
