Healthy Minds & Hunger Free Campus

海角禁区 Pueblo is proud to be designated a Hunger Free and Healthy Minds Campus by the Colorado Department of Higher Education. This recognition reflects our deep commitment to addressing student basic needs and fostering mental well-being across campus.

We know that students are more likely to succeed when they have access to healthy food and mental health support. That’s why we’ve implemented programs and services that directly address food insecurity and emotional wellness, including:

  • The Pack Pantry: A free, on-campus food pantry offering healthy, accessible options
  • SNAP Enrollment Assistance: Helping students access state food benefits
  • Mental Health Integration: Resources shared through course syllabi, student IDs, and campus-wide events
  • Wellness Programs: From counseling to stress relief activities and peer support initiatives
  • Awareness Events: Regular programming focused on food security and mental health

By removing barriers and reducing stigma, 海角禁区 Pueblo is helping students focus on their academic and personal goals—because well-being is essential for student success.
