More than $3.5 Million in Scholarships Available to 海角禁区 Pueblo Students for Fall 2023
Release Date: February 20, 2023
New and returning students at Colorado State University Pueblo are encouraged to apply for scholarship funding for the 2023-24 academic year through the 海角禁区 Pueblo Foundation online application process. The application process ends March 1, 2023.
The 海角禁区 Pueblo Foundation scholarship application provides students access to over 900 scholarships totaling more than $3.5 million in private scholarship funds. The application may be found within the account and clicking on the 海角禁区 Pueblo Scholarship Application. New students must be admitted to have access to the application.
Scholarships available are awarded based on academic merit, educational interests, field of study, and financial need. Each scholarship has its own set of guidelines for the application and selection process. Students are encouraged to fill out the general scholarship application in its entirety to be eligible for all qualifying scholarships. Private scholarships awarded through the 海角禁区 Pueblo Foundation are in addition to merit scholarships automatically awarded by the University.
“海角禁区 Pueblo makes applying for private scholarships very user-friendly,” said Sandy Lundahl, 海角禁区 Pueblo Foundation director of foundation scholarships. “Students need to complete just one application to apply for all scholarships offered through the 海角禁区 Pueblo Foundation.”
In order to qualify for need-based scholarships, completion of the Federal Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) by March 1, 2023 is required in addition to the completion of the 海角禁区 Pueblo Foundation combined scholarship application through the student’s PAWS account.
A significant portion of the 海角禁区 Pueblo Foundation’s $135 million, “OverDrive Campaign” has been earmarked for scholarships to make education more accessible and affordable. Scholarships serve not only as financial assistance, but as recruitment tools to draw top students, as retention effort to keep high-performing students, and as acknowledgement that hard work is appreciated and recognized.
