Solipsism is a theory that “the self is the only thing that can be known and all reality is just one's own imagining." The Solipsism Art Show displays a theory of the self through portraiture, scientific and psychological inquiry, and investigations into the human condition.
The theme will be interpreted through a myriad of mediums including acrylic on wood, acrylic on canvas, monoprint and oil pastel, Silver, lead, nickel, and steel, six stone lithograph, soft-ground etching, soft-ground etching with drypoint, soft-ground etching and monotype, cast iron, cast aluminum, cast iron/pewter, bronze, steel, copper, ink on BFK paper, gouache, ink, graphite, and colored pencil, oil on canvas, and mixed media on paper.
